In one of our many comments, was a plea for MORE batmizvah style, so here it is!
Actually, I have to attend a batmitzvah soon, so here are some MORE tips.
As stated before, the service is less formal, and you can wear a skirt (go with a pencil skirt, shown right), and a flowy top (shown left). These look really cute while being totally sophisticated!
Shoes are really important. NO SNEAKERS! This makes you look like you really don't care about this person's batmitzvah and that you would rather be anywhere else. Boots are really good! Try to avoid Ugg's because they don't really look good for parties!
Handbags are necessary! They complete the outfit and make you look super sophisticated. There is a really cute one shown to the left! Also check out Alliecat's post on purses!
For the party part of the batmitzvah, you will need to look formal and cute! You have to wear a dress, as it is what you must do at the party part of a batmitzvah.
Don't wear sparkily dresses, as they just look overdone. Aim for a classic dress, but not one that comes to your ankles, as that makes you look old fashioned. Aim for one that comes either above or right below your knees.
Do your hair up cute! Curl it the night before by putting in in braids, straighten it or curl it! Whatever you think looks good on you!
Try to avoid headbands, because they make you look like you are going to school with a dress on! Keep your hair down, girls think that their hair looks ugly, but it really doesn't.
Jewelry is really cute and can totally make your outfit shine! Try to get something that matches like earrings or a necklace. Don't wear like twenty necklaces, as it takes the simplicity out of your outfit and just makes you look overdone!
Go a tad easy on the make-up. Don't smother yourself with eyeliner, mascara or lip gloss! Try to put reasonable amounts of it on!
That's all for this time! Comment and email us at liveinhotpink@gmail.com
