So previously, Sniggy told you briefly about make up. But I will go into a little more detail with it! So follow my guidelines and have fun!
EYE SHADOW: Eye shadow is the most well known form of makeup. Apply it simply with a sponge brush . Wipe the sponge in your makeup and gently and carefuly stroke it across your lid. If you have a lighter color, you can spread it up to your eyebrow, but vibrant colors should be kept lower. Nude eye shadows (left top) are great because you can make your eyes look beautiful and dramatic, without making them attract too much attention. A great way to wear eye shadow is as follows: apply a light shade of nude on your eyelid, and spread it close to your eyebrow using a sponge brush. Take a slightly darker shade, and apply it only to your eyelid using a sponge brush. Finally, lightly brush your darkest nude shade from the middle of each eyelid outward with a brush applicator (right) . This will add contour. (see picture left, bottom)
Lip gloss adds to your look by making your lips shiny and cute. Don't over use it, because you don't want the first thing people think to be "wow she wears a lot of lip gloss!" If used right, it can add to your look, not tear it down. Lipgloss is usually clear, but it can also have color. Remember, you don't always need the brightest color, although those are fun sometimes! Sometimes the nudes can look nice too.
Finally, eyeliner! Eyeliner can make your eyes stand out! I like black eyeliner the best, because it matches your eyelashes and isn't too obvious. To apply eyeliner, just take a eyeliner pencil and gently (you don't need much pressure) stroke it across the very edge of the top lid. It will add to your style without over-adding!
Remember, have fun, find what looks good on you!
