Help us out? CONTEST!!!!

Hey guys! AllieCat here. We are almost to a total of 2,000 page views all time. First off, I want to thank everyone who has visited this blog, and especially those who check in regularly! Secondly, WE NEED YOUR HELP!! A few months ago, we had a BIG spike in page views. Now, this blog doesn't seem to be getting the views I think it deserves. The blog owners, me (AllieCat) and Sniggy are going to ask you a favor. You don't have to do anything huge. But if you enjoy this blog, PLEASE tell your friends, family, etc. Tell anyone who you think might be interested. Send out an email to your whole address book. Now you might be thinking "what's in it for me?" well here we go!

I am making this a CONTEST!!!!! When you tell people to go to our blog, tell them to comment YOUR NAME (just first name last initial is fine) on this post. The person who gets referred in a comment the most gets to tell us to make a post specifically for them. It can be about anything you want!! It should relate to an average teenage girl's life, but that is the ONLY GUIDELINE. The post will be dedicated to you, and we will announce your name in the post!!

So get moving!!!!!!!

PS. We will make a post in one month (that's a LOT OF TIME) announcing the winner and giving info to contact us about the content of your post. Now go TELL EVERYONE!!!!

Fruit Smoothies!

Hi! Allie here with another delicious and healthy summer treat! Want something that's healthy, yummy, and oh-so-refreshing? How about a fruit smoothie! This recipe isn't your ordinary smoothie recipe. There is no yogurt, just milk. So it is not as thick, but very light and delicious. It's a glass of frothy goodness!

This recipe works well with any fruit, but my favorites are banana or peach. I will show you the recipe for the peach one, but you can substitute peach for fruits like strawberries, bananas, papaya, or any combination of those.

You will need:
1 cup of milk
about 1/2 cup of chopped peaches (or other fruit)
1 tablespoon of sugar (you can add more if you want :)
1 tablespoon of honey (optional)
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla (add more if you like)

Blend all the ingredients until you have a smooth, refreshing smoothie! This recipe makes one serving, so double it if you want to share with a friend. Serve chilled or over crushed ice if desired.

ENJOY! :))
