These earrings feel really summery!

Hamburger earrings don't impress!

One thing that I despise completely is food earrings. Who wants to have burgers and fries on your ear. Not appealing. Even if they look cute, what do they match with? A McDonald's shirt? No way. If you love this kind of earring, well I think its time to grow up. There is better earrings like the feather ones shown left. They feel and look very summery. They easily match with dresses and school clothes. You can get all types of them. From solid color to stripes. There is always something to match your outfit.

Don't wear colorful earrings, they distract

Another thing I hate is rainbow earrings, shown left. They don't really go with anything and just look bad. Try to get something that looks more modern and cute like hoop earrings!! They come in plenty of colors and styles. Plus, they go with almost everything! You can choose how thick, what color, and plenty of other factors. They look super awesome with about any outfit.

No bug earrings!Unless they are WAY cuter than the ones shown left. Those are too colorful and look just plain ugly. Even small studs can look cute! Especially if you have a complicated outfit. They look plain and modern!

This bag is just HORRIBLE! There are too many colors and the print is way to distracting. Try to find really simple bags, like shown right! They are simple and look super cute! Take the cute bag on the right!! It has that summery feel and looks totally cute! It isn't too colorful and not too busy! You could take it to the beach, or even to school!

Spring Has Arrived!

Hey guys! AllieCat here. So spring has basically arrived, and it is time to dress differently according to the weather. It's been really warm recently, and that is where the dreaded phrase "dress code" really comes into play. My school's dress code is average. It's kind of strict, but not terribly. So here is how to dress cute without getting picked on by old school teachers.

Shorts:

ALL girls have short shorts. Sometimes teachers might pick on you. The trick is an illusion. Wear short shorts, but not ones that show off your cheeks (you may think it is, but honey it is NOT attractive.) The shorts shown on the right are great.





Also, you don't have to wear short shorts. Medium length shorts or capris can be super cute too! I like the ones to the left. But try not to get shorts at the awkward length halfway up the thigh. The capris to the left are cute :)






Tanks:

Girls get picked on most for wearing tank tops. But honestly, as long as you don't show your bra straps, its typically okay. So go for a cute tank top that doesn't show the straps, and you'll be good to go :)

Toms!

One of the shoes that is gaining popularity are Toms. They are shoes that are shaped like Sperry's. A pic of one is shown right. These are very simple shoes. Most colors match with almost anything!

One thing I have noticed that is popular, is the shoe type. Sparkly I do hate this type, but it doesn't look horrible! Shown left, it is not to sparkly! It is nice and simple, and goes with almost any color and any pattern! These shoes are washable so you don't have to worry if you get something on them! They look super cute! They don't hurt your feet too! My friend wears Sperry's, and the back of her foot is red where the Sperry's rub against her foot. Wake up late?

This happens to me all the time. I wake up to find about 5 minutes to shower, eat breakfast, and get into some nice clothes. This is really stressful and also is just annoying. If you don't have time to put on your makeup correctly, this is just horrible. Of course, there is a solution.

The night before, lay out your clothes and set your makeup out so that you know what you are going to wear and put on. This makes it easier than deciding the next morning. Also, try to shower the night before. Set an alarm clock to go off about ten to thirty minutes before your bus comes. The time depends on how fast or slow you are. If you are fast, try to do twenty minutes. Take ten for getting dressed and putting on makeup, and use the other ten for eating breakfast! This will help you become more efficient. Also, pack your backpack the night before so you aren't rushing around in the morning trying to find any homework. Make a checklist if needed to keep you on track.

When at school, actually use your planbook. Write what you have to do and keep everything in order! If you don't have a planbook, go and get one! At home, make a desk. You only need a table and a chair. Put all of your homework on it. If needed. Put all the homework you need to do in a folder, and take it out one by one and do it. Once you finish one, put it in a homework folder. You can put the homework folder in your backpack. This helps you in two ways. Gets you organized, and makes sure you aren't scrambling for your homework the next morning!!!
