Wow. I never thought in all of nevery never everness that this blog would ever get 1000 views. In fact, this started out as a way to pass free time for me (AllieCat). But my awesome friend Sniggy showed great interest in my blog, so I let her be my co-author!! And now here we are...a THOUSAND VIEWS! I know it's not that big, considering how mny views some web stars get, but it is an AWESOME start! We at liveinhotpink owe all of you a big thanks. And our normal just plain "thanks" ain't gonna cut it! So we are going to create a blog post that will help all of you.

Converse Part II

So as a continuation of my previous post, i am going to talk about print styles and options. When picking a print, you have to keep three things in mind.

First, color. You  don't want a super busy print. Try to keep it slightly simple. Like a star print shown left. This isn't too colorful, but the print is unique and shows up. The colors work together. The two dull colors (white and black) balance it out. The green makes it pop! It makes stand out, while not being too busy!

This one is one of my favorite types of print. Splatter. It looks really cool and natural. It doesn't follow a pattern and you can't tell what's going to happen next. This print is unique. It doesn't really have a pattern. This I really like. It can really stand out! It is slightly dull, and should be used with a slightly dark outfit.


The second thing to consider is styling. You don't want something shown right. It looks slightly childish with all the flowers. I mean, flowers? Really? People think that look really cute with flowers, but not really. It just ruins everything.


And the last thing to consider, is your opinion. I just give you tips. You choose your own fashion inspiration. Just because I don't like flowers on clothes, doesn't mean you can't pull off a flower dress. Your styles represent who you are. So be yourself! Let your inspiration guide you! Be free! Its your clothes, wear what you want to!

Blog Renovations!

Hey guys! AllieCat here! I was thinking maybe of renovating the site a little! You know, just change the design a bit...it would make it more attractive and hopefully attracct more viewers! Also I am now adding polls to our blog! Scroll to the bottom an you should see a little survey question!! (I will probably make the polls more accesible in the renovation...) but do it fast! Polls close at a certain time. Lastly, I recently added a new thingamahoozee to your side bar (the things on the right of ur screen) that shows you our most viewed posts!

Converse Crazy!

Almost everyone has heard of converse shoes! Shown right. These are classic shoes that come in so many different colors and patterns. In fact, I decided to visit their website, and was it fun! I designed my own shoes! I made many pairs, but the ones shown below are my FAVORITES!!! You should check out their website!

Anyways, the colors really matter! Black and red look totally cool! I made the shoe to the left! The colors pop and look really cute! The plaid design inside really lets it stand out! If you are a bit more girly than this, the next color scheme might be better for you!!!!!


The colors for this one are really cute together! The light pink and grey don't overpower you and look awesome! The cupcake design inside the shoe pulls it together.



Ah, green and white are perfect! It makes you feel light, in a way, while looking awesome! This is a simple design, but looks stunning. The green really pops out! The white is the secondary color so that the shoe isn't too colorful and attention grabbing. This is a really cute shoe!

The last design I am going to show you is really cool. The blue and white might look really dull together. So why not just throw in some yellow? The stripe on the bottom of the shoe draws some attention! It looks good with almost any outfit as well.

Vera Bradley

Almost everyone likes Vera Bradley. They have so many prints to choose from and a wide variety of things from headbands to scarves to suitcases. Vera Bradley is a fashion empire that just doesn't stop. Here is what's popular and what's not!

Vera Bradley patterns are the ones that complete the item. I judge what's cute by two things.

• Color
• How patterned it is

You don't want the print shown left. It just uses the wrong colors and it way too busy. I don't want to offend anyone who likes this. Everyone has a different style! 

I really like the pattern shown right. The pattern is simple and the colors pop! The pattern is eye pleasing and really makes it pop!

I have seen girls with Vera Bradley pencils. I think that is going over the top. They cost a fortune! Just buy plain yellow pencils! Also, most people buy a cosmetic bag for a pencil pouch.
